Activities performed in oil industry embrace a number of interconnected links, with geological studies, seismic operations and interpretation, exploration, drilling and production being recognized as the upstream links of the chain.
Petroiran Development Company (PEDCO) was formally registered in Jersey, England, in 1999 to act as the management arm of the Iranian oil industry in order to fulfill the of objectives ratified by the esteemed Board of Directors of NIOC in developing upstream projects in oil industry. The first six years of PEDCO’s activities in executing huge oil projects in the Persian Gulf - such as the development and production increase in Nosrat and Farzam fields, Salman oil and gas fields, Foroozan and Esfandiar oil fields, and the South Pars Oil Layer and Azadeghan Field Development in the framework of buyback contracts – have brought about tremendous achievements, all well endorsed by NIOC. With these tangible accomplishments in place, we are now witnessing our most extensive activities of the oil industry in developing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s offshore common fields in the Persian Gulf.
PEDCO - drawing strength from its progressive executive management, capable managers and experienced technical staff - has taken long strides in the past few years toward the fulfillment of the goals of the Iranian oil industry and is currently pursuing extensive programs for the further expansion of its activities….
